The concept

Well yes, ambasciatoregusto is my baby! I treated all aspects, from the analytical to strategic and operational. The idea was conceived during my stay in Germany, a land where I felt more than ever, my connection with Calabria where I grew up until the age of 13 years and from which I learned deep culinary traditions.Whilst searching for my roots I found my 'Italianity' in 1994 when I attended an Italian Language School in Cologne and worked in various Italian restaurants in Germany.I discovered a strong passion for everything that was edible and so I decided to specialise in food and wine. In 1999 I conducted a training course in the tourism and hotel sector in Germany. These years were very constructive as I learned to know and appreciate not only German but also French wine, cuisine and traditions where the influence of French haute cuisine was very strong.In 2003, enriched with a wealth of technical knowledge and language, I decided to move to Tuscany to attend the AIS (Italian Sommelier Association).Haunted by an area rich in traditions, culture and gourmet products I then decided to remain in Florence, where I reside today.Here I had the pleasure (and honour) to work with chefs and professionals from whom I learned so much.
